Reserves Guidelines: Why, Where, and How?

Reserves and resources estimation is critical to the modern oil and gas industry. In this SPE Live, we will discuss the need for reserves classification systems as well as their origin. Comparison will be made of several commonly-used systems including: PRMS, SEC and COGEH. Key terms and definitions will be described and discussed. We will also outline the key features of the PRMS and how it can be used to classify and categorize reserves and resources.
