Corporate Water Strategy and Business Value: Sustainability and Resilience

Water scarcity and poor water quality always represented challenges to the private sector. The pandemic has revealed greater risks to the private sector and highlighted the critical value of water. However, along with greater recognition of water related risks to the private sector we have also seen an acceleration of solution trends in place pre-pandemic. The most impactful accelerating solutions to water risks for the sector are in digital water technology solutions (e.g., remote sensing, AI, blockchain, etc.) coupled with the increased adoption of innovative business models.The pandemic has mobilized entrepreneurs, investors and private sector companies to accelerate innovation and scaling of solutions to build a more resilient and sustainable sector. Strategies, innovative solutions (technology, business models and partnerships) and case studies will be presented.
