Terry PalischTerry Palisch is the VP of technology and engineering at CARBO Ceramics. After completing his BS in Petroleum Engineering at University of Missouri-Rolla (UMR), Palisch worked as a senior petroleum engineer for 10 years with ARCO in Alaska and four years as a petroleum advisor with ARCO in Algeria, North Africa. In his current position, Palisch leads a team of technologists dedicated to developing and championing new products and services as well as advising clients on completion/fracture optimization. He has authored over 50 SPE papers, is past chairman of the SPE Dallas Section and ATCE Technical Program Chair. He recently completed his term as Completions Technical Director on the SPEI Board, and has rejoined the Board as the 2024 SPEI President. He has been awarded the SPE MidCon Region Completions Optimization & Technology Award and the Regional Service Award. In 2018 Palisch was recognized as a Distinguished Member of SPEI, and received the Distinguished Service Award.
